**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for patient care and dentistry, with a strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

**Duties:**

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

- Coronal Polishing

- Prepare patients for dental work / communicate needs with Dr

- Take dental x-rays

- Manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and communicating care

- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery and other dental treatment procedures

- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

-Set up and clean up of treatment rooms

- Sterilization (processing of instruments)

**Qualifications:**

- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or equivalent experience

- Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and anatomy

- Coronal polishing certificate

- Understanding of patient assessment techniques

Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 35.0 per week
