Job Description
Beautiful office in San Juan Capistrano looking for Dental Assistants! Speaking SPANISH preferred.
We are looking for high skilled dental assistant of two years of experience.
Must have great customer service and be a team player.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of dental set -ups (Crowns, RCT, Fillings, Extractions) Oral surgery is a PLUS!
Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Send and track all lab cases
Keep inventory of needed supplies & track usage
Chart treatment diagnoses as doctor calls it out in Dentrix
Act as patient support during procedures
Provide patient proper consent forms before starting treatment
Take preliminary impressions and pre/post operative x-ray as needed
Take and record patients' vital signs
Properly Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Do monthly maintenance on office equipment
Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform patient assessments and document medical history
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques
