Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, supporting the dental practitioners, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Prior experience with dental software such as Cleardent will be highly valued. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in dental assisting procedures, medical terminology, and CAD technology to deliver comprehensive dental services.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during various procedures, including pediatrics, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Cleardent
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions
Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to OSHA standards
Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions
Qualifications
Valid license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent certification
Experience with dental assisting procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics preferred
Familiarity with dental software such as Cleardent is highly desirable
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Basic understanding of CAD technology used in digital imaging and diagnostics
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks
