Concord Dental Group is a privately owned, non-corporate practice with a close-knit team, and we're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join us!
Schedule: Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Duties
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as restorations, root canals, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments.
Take and develop high-quality X-ray images using digital imaging systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
Manage patient records efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, vital signs, and treatment notes.
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions about dental terminology, and assisting with patient comfort.
Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist, verifying insurance information, and managing medical documentation.
Conduct medical imaging with advanced tools such as 3D scanners when necessary for comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain strict infection control standards by following proper sterilization procedures and maintaining an organized clinical environment.
Assist with medical coding for billing purposes related to dental procedures involving endodontics or prosthodontics.
Support the dental team with vital signs assessment and other clinical duties to ensure efficient patient flow in general dentistry settings.
Experience
Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred.
Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is essential for managing patient records accurately.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality of all medical information.
Hands-on experience with X-ray techniques, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools is advantageous.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices helps deliver specialized care to young patients.
Understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques is required to uphold safety standards.
Experience supporting multiple specialties such as prosthodontics or endodontics enhances your versatility within the team.
