Job Description
Full-Time EFDA or EFPDA Dental Assistant with X-ray certification Competitive Pay and Benefits Pediatric Dental Private Practice - Portland
We are seeking a dental assistant to join our harmonious dental team. The new ideal hire must be a team player, support excellent communication and active listening skills, excel in patient care, open to learning and expanding their skills, possess strong organization and time management skills. Also, the candidate must possess an honest, warm, cheerful and compassionate personality. We are open to both full and part-time availability. Full-time employees would be eligible to receive benefits including health insurance (100% premium paid), PTO, holiday pay, uniform allowance and 401k with a match.
The EFDA or EFPDA will be expected to be able to skillfully perform the following duties and responsibilities:
Assisting the dentist and hygienists.
Sterilizing instruments.
Cleaning operatories.
Taking radiographs.
Proficient in child prophylaxis (prophy).
Charting
Compensation offered is dependent upon previous, relevant, professional experience. Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
