Job Summary
Twin Cities Family and Implant Dentistry is looking for a reliable, friendly, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our family. Responsibilities
Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics.

Take dental X-rays using digital imaging technology such as 3D scanners and other medical imaging tools while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.

Manage patient records accurately within Open Dental, including updating medical documentation and coding procedures appropriately.

Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and addressing patient questions to ensure comfort and understanding.

Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with the dental receptionist, verifying insurance information, and managing medical records efficiently.

Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization practices to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications
Prior experience working in a dental clinic or healthcare environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.

Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with Epic or similar platforms is a plus.

Strong understanding of infection control protocols, sterilization procedures, and aseptic technique in a clinical setting.

Ability to perform chairside assisting with competence in handling dental instruments and materials across various specialties, including general dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and endodontics.

Experience taking X-rays using digital imaging technology; knowledge of dental imaging standards is required.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical documentation and patient privacy.
