Job Title: Dental Assistant – Bilingual (Spanish) | General, Cosmetic & Surgical Experience | 4-Handed Dentistry
Location: Manhasset, Long Island, New York (North Shore of Long Island)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $25–$28 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Weekdays + Occasional Weekends (as needed)

We are currently seeking a reliable, skilled, and bilingual Dental Assistant to support our clinical and front office operations. Long-Term Positions Available.

Position Summary:
The ideal candidate is an experienced Dental Assistant with a strong background in assisting across all areas of dentistry - including oral surgery, endodontics, and implant dentistry.

Reporting to the lead dentist, your core skills in dental assisting, chairside support, and knowledge of dental terminology will be essential. You will utilize premium skills such as proficiency in EMR systems and X-Ray techniques while providing compassionate care to patients, including pediatric cases. Bilingual communication in English and Spanish will enhance patient interactions, making you a vital asset to our team in delivering high-quality dental care.

Key Responsibilities:
Chair side assisting for general, cosmetic, and surgical dental procedures: crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, overdentures, implants, root canals, and oral surgery
Assist with emergency dental treatments
Prepare operatories and maintain sterilization protocols
Use dental software to update patient records and manage appointments
Support front desk tasks, patient check-in/out, and appointment scheduling as needed
Assist with light office duties such as cleaning, organizing, and supply management
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless workflow and positive patient experience
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.

Utilize dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and staff.

Operate 3D scanners and manage dental records using EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.

Perform X-rays and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Provide bilingual support in English and Spanish to enhance patient communication and care.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience required
Fluent in Spanish (Preferred)
Experience in general, cosmetic, and surgical dental assisting
4-Handed Dentistry
Knowledge of dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
Radiology certification (if required by state)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Friendly, professional, and patient-focused demeanor
Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends
