Job Description
*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and caring Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our dentist chairside while providing excellent care to patients. This position offers an opportunity to work in a friendly environment that focuses on quality care to patients.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare operatories for dental procedures. Which includes setting up instruments and supplies. Dental knowledge of procedures and terminology required.
- Greet patients in a friendly manner while seating them in the operatories, review medical history, take vitals and review treatment.
-Assisting the dentist chairside during dental procedures by handing instruments in a safe manner.
- Sterilize instruments while maintaining a clean and sterile environment at all times by following infection control protocols per OSHA to maintain a safe clinical environment.
-Knowledge of a dental program preferred. Example: Dentrix or Eaglesoft. You must know how to navigate through a dental program by entering in treatment, clinical notes, completing procedures and taking x-rays.
-This position does require you to have a PA Radiology Certificate. Candidate must know how to take dental digital x-rays on patients.
-Knowledge of taking alginate impressions, pouring and trimming models for lab cases.
-You will be responsible for keeping track of inventory and ordering products.
-HIPPAA, OSHA, CPR, FIRST AID, CHILD ABUSE Certificates must be current.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
