Job Summary
Join our dynamic dental team at LaBadie Family Dentistry as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Duties
Prepare treatment areas with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies for each patient visit
Assist dentists during various procedures including restorations, extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
Take dental X-rays using advanced imaging equipment such digital radiography systems, intraoral and extraoral cameras, and digital scanner
Manage patient records accurately within Eaglesoft, ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times
Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow and patient comfort
Monitor vital signs and assess patient readiness before procedures while practicing aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards
Support administrative tasks
Skills
Proficiency with dental software (Eaglesoft or similar EMR system)
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to general dentistry
Experience with dental imaging techniques including X-ray procedures
Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization processes within a dental clinic setting
Ability to perform vital signs assessment and assist with pediatric dentistry procedures when needed
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and documentation

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
