Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dental assistant for our family practice, JA Dental Care. As a key member of our clinical staff, the successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the dental healthcare team.

Duties

- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient exams, including taking dental X-rays and providing aseptic techniques to ensure the highest level of patient care..

- Familiarize yourself with electronic medical records (EMRs) such as Open Dental and ensure that all patient data is accurate and complete.

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.

Preferred:

- Knowledge of dental assisting best practices and aseptic technique.

- Proficiency in dental terminology and a willingness to learn.

- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) such as Open Dental - Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience

- Current certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or registered with the state.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
