Job Description
We are a small family dental office located in Upland, CA, seeking to add a team member who can provide excellent customer service and patient experience. This is a long term position. We’re looking for someone who is self motivated and a team player. New Grads welcome, we are willing to train. We are mainly looking for someone to fill in on Monday-Wednesday with more days possible.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Dental Assisting: 2 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred)
- X-Ray Certification (Required)
-California Dental Practice course (Required)
-Infection control course (Required)
-Health care worker CPR (required)
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments according to industry standards
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Manage inventory and supplies in the dental clinic
- Perform dental receptionist duties when needed
- Utilize medical imaging software for diagnostics
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
