Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dental practice! The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.
The job is full time and extended health benefits will be provided (including vison, chiropractor, medical etc) after 3 months.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or completion of a dental assisting program is preferred but not required. Training will be provided if the selected candidate does not have prior experience.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods.
- Familiarity with dental software is preferred but not required.
- Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, or CAD/CAM is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoys working within a team.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
