Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist the dentist during various procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Your dedication to patient care and teamwork will be essential in delivering the high-quality service our patients expect.
Key Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring a calm and comfortable experience for every patient
Set up, clean, and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments are properly sterilized and organized per OSHA and CDC guidelines
Take high-quality digital X-rays and 3D scans when required
Accurately chart and update patient records in dental software
Reinforce post-op care and educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment plans with empathy and clarity
Maintain proper stock of clinical supplies and ensure all equipment is in working order through routine maintenance and troubleshooting
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and support front desk staff when needed
Contribute to a team-first culture by supporting others, adapting to challenges, and sharing a positive attitude

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on dental assisting experience (preferred).
Certification: Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) license as per state requirements.
X-Ray License: Must hold a valid Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) certification to legally take X-rays.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with digital dental software (e.g., Dentrix) and digital imaging/intraoral cameras.
Clinical Skills: Proficiency in four-handed dentistry and a solid understanding of dental terminology and instruments.
Work Schedule:
We are looking for a team member to join us three days a week. The set schedule for this position is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with the optional flexibility to work Tuesdays if desired.
