Seeking a Surgical Dental Assistant
Jirik Dental Group is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant to join our advanced implant, cosmetic, and surgical team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves learning, and is committed to delivering extraordinary patient care.
Previous surgical or implant experience is welcomed, but we are willing to train a motivated dental assistant who is ready to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all materials are ready for procedures.
Assist dentists during various dental implant and cosmetic treatments, including chairside support with procedures such as restorations, extractions, and endodontics.
Take dental X-rays using digital imaging equipment like 3D scanners and medical imaging tools while maintaining strict infection control protocols.
Manage patient records accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide excellent dental reception services by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and updating medical and dental records efficiently.
Monitor vital signs and assist with IV sedation procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
Follow aseptic techniques and infection control standards to maintain a safe clinical environment for staff and patients.
Support the dental team with administrative tasks related to medical documentation and record keeping for insurance claims or medical records.
Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and using dental terminology confidently.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Ability to perform medical imaging procedures accurately while adhering to safety standards.
Knowledge of digital workflows and digital scanning.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, receptionists, and patients.
Familiarity with dental implants and cosmetic dentistry are a plus. Join us in creating healthier smiles!
