Current X-ray certification and CPR certification
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Detail-oriented and organized
Full Job Description for Dental Assistant:
Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures
Assist dentists and hygienists during examinations and treatments
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Record patient dental and medical history
Prepare dental materials, such as cement, amalgam, or composite
Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Maintain patient records and schedule appointments
Assist with administrative tasks, such as billing and insurance claims
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
