Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will support clinical operations by providing chairside assistance, managing patient records, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Assist dentist during various procedures including restorations, extractions, and root canals with chairside assistance and four-handed dentistry techniques.

Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.

Take dental X-rays using medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and traditional radiography tools.

Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures.

Manage patient flow efficiently by greeting patients, updating medical documentation, and scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist when needed.

Educate patients on dental terminology, procedures, and post-treatment care to enhance their understanding of treatment plans.

Requirements
X-ray license
Experience working as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting with knowledge of general dentistry preferred but not required.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and team members.
