Job Overview

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly using aseptic techniques.
Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and managing patient comfort.
Take radiographic images, including 3D scans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
Manage patient records electronically, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, and treatment notes.
Perform chairside assisting with a focus on infection control and maintaining a sterile environment throughout all procedures.
Qualifications
Experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in dental assisting procedures preferred but not required.
Knowledge of dental terminology.
Proficiency with computer systems.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a clinical setting.
Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely and effectively.
Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients.
Certification in radiography or dental assisting from an accredited program is highly desirable; ongoing training in HIPAA compliance is required.
