Join our friendly, single-doctor dental office in Beaverton as a Dental Assistant and play a key role in delivering excellent patient care. You’ll work closely with the dentist to prepare treatment areas, assist during procedures, and keep daily operations running smoothly. Your skills and focus on patient comfort will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. This paid position offers opportunities to grow your skills in a friendly setting dedicated to excellence in general dentistry.
✨ No Fridays. No evenings.
Enjoy a consistent 4-day work week with a predictable schedule and real work-life balance.
What we offer:
$23–26/hour depending on experience
4-day work week (Monday–Thursday)
No Fridays or evenings
Paid holidays + PTO
Training provided — no EFDA required
Duties:
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly using infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Assist during procedures such as restorations, extractions, implant crowns, and fixed and removable prosthodontics, by handing instruments and managing dental materials efficiently.
Take high-quality radiographs while maintaining patient safety through proper radiation safety procedures.
Manage patient records using Daisy+ and SOTA imaging softwares (training provided), ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, vital signs, and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Support front desk operations when required, occasionally scheduling appointments and managing patient communication with professionalism.
Educate patients about dental procedures, oral health practices, and post-treatment care to enhance their understanding and comfort.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic role with familiarity in general dentistry procedures.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
Proficiency in dental software such Daisy+ and SOTA imaging
Ability to operate X-ray machines safely while adhering to radiation safety standards; certification in radiography required.
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with dentistry practices are highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Certification in CPR or basic life support (BLS) is preferred; ongoing training in infection control protocols is expected.
Why this position is different:
We are a small, privately owned office, and not a corporate chain. That means:
Consistent doctor and team (no constant turnover)
A calmer, more personal pace
We respect your time; on-time schedules and real lunch breaks
If you’re looking for a stable, low-stress dental office where you can build your skills, we’d love to meet you.
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
Benefits:
Health insurance
Paid time off
Work Location: In person
