Norge Dental Center has added a new dentist, and we are looking for a qualified Dental Assistant with chairside assisting skills to join our team. Competitive salary. Full time, 4 days a week. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
Prepare and organize dental instruments and materials for various treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
Perform basic administrative tasks, including managing dental software and handling patient inquiries.
Qualifications
Proven experience in chairside assisting and dental assisting
Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and general dentistry practices
Knowledge of prosthodontics and endodontics
Ability to utilize 3D scanners and EMR systems effectively
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
