Job Description
Dental Assistant
We are seeking a dependable, motivated Dental Assistant who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving dental technologies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Perform digital scanning for Invisalign and restorative procedures, or be willing to learn.
Prepare patients for treatment and dental examinations.
Take intraoral radiographs.
Select, organize, and set up instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures.
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
Assist the dentist through four-handed dentistry during cosmetic, general, surgical, and specialty procedures, including endodontic and periodontal treatment.
Complete laboratory tasks as directed.
Monitor and maintain clinical inventory and supplies.
Cross-train for front office responsibilities as a secondary role.
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative instructions to patients.
Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment rooms.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with financial and payment procedures as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
Experience with Open Dental software is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who is coachable and eager to learn.
Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and infection control protocols.
Understanding of health and safety regulations.
Coronal polishing certification is a plus.
Strong computer and technology skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Well-organized, dependable, and able to work in a team environment.
Current X-ray license required or willingness to obtain licensure as soon as possible.
