Dental Assistant

Location: Columbia, MD
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $25–$28/hour, based on experience
About Our Practice
We are a modern, growing dental practice in Columbia, MD looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team.

We pride ourselves on creating a positive, supportive work environment where our team works together to provide an exceptional patient experience. Our office is recently renovated and equipped with modern, state-of-the-art dental technology.

We are looking for someone who is not only clinically strong but also enjoys building relationships with patients and being part of a close-knit team.

What You'll Do
Assist the dentist during restorative, cosmetic, surgical and general dentistry procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
Take digital X-rays and intraoral photographs
Assist with digital scanning and Invisalign procedures
Sterilize instruments and follow OSHA/infection-control protocols
Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures
Provide excellent patient care and help patients feel comfortable
Assist with room turnover and maintaining efficient patient flow
Document treatment and communicate effectively with the clinical and front-office teams
Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming office
What We're Looking For
Dental assisting experience preferred
Expanded functions experience is a plus
Invisalign/digital scanning experience is a plus
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, punctual, and organized
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Someone who takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about patients
Ability to work well as part of a team
