SMILES OHIO is looking for a full time DENTAL ASSISTANT!

Compensation:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience

Performance Expectations:
Assist the doctor during procedures using effective four-handed dentistry
Create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient
Provide clear patient communication and education
Take high-quality diagnostic digital radiographs
Review and update patient health histories
Prepare, clean, and organize operatories
Coordinate smooth patient handoffs to the front office
Help the clinical team remain organized and on schedule
Follow all safety, clinical, and infection-control protocols
Essential Functions:
Stay positive and adaptable to changes that may arise in the schedule and office.
Maintain professionalism at all times.
Ability to foster trust from doctors, co-workers and patients.
Ability to work cooperatively with management, staff and patients.
Ability to prioritize, organize and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.
Ability to communicate and express thoughts and ideas competently.
Qualifications:
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Current CDA certification
Current dental radiography certification, as applicable
Current CPR certification
Office Hours for this Position:
Monday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
