Duties
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition according to dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management policies
Assist dentist during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry by handing instruments and managing patient comfort
Take and develop dental x-rays using dental x-ray equipment and 3D scanners, ensuring accurate medical imaging for diagnosis
Manage patient records using patient management software such as Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies
Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance procedure efficiency and patient experience
Collect vital signs and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care and medical records accuracy
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by processing dental instruments, adhering to infection control standards, and following aseptic technique protocols
Qualifications
Some knowledge of dental terminology
Prefer but not necessary to have some experience in dental field.

Some experience with any dental software systems
Strong understanding of infection prevention management, sterilization procedures, and healthcare infection control expertise
Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety standard
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members including dental receptionists and healthcare professionals
Certification in dental assisting and/or xray is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged

Pay: $15.00 - $29.00 per hour
