Dental Assistant

Job Summary
Join our family dental office as a Dental Assistant, where you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care and creating a welcoming environment. In this vital role, you will support dentist/s during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and safety.

Duties
Patient communication & treatment support: Professional and clear communication, explaining treatment benefits, helping patients feel comfortable, and supporting treatment plans
Perform vital signs assessments and document medical history to support comprehensive patient care
Chairside assisting: four-handed dentistry, suctioning, retraction, setup, sterilization, clinical notes, and anticipating the doctor’s needs. Assisting during general bread and butter dental procedures and hygeine
Digital dentistry: Proficient in iTero scanning, clinical photography
Invisalign & cosmetic dentistry: Invisalign support, whitening, bonding, veneers, smile design, and cosmetic case preparation
X-rays: Capture digital dental X-rays- intraoral and panoramic
Facial esthetics & therapeutic support: assisting with Botox/facial esthetics appointments, patient comfort, photos, setup, and documentation
Records: Manage or assist dentist in accurately maintaining patient records within Eaglesoft while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Infection control: Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment
Coordinate lab cases and manage clinical inventory as assigned
Qualifications:
X-Ray certification (Required)
Dental Assisting certification or experience (highly preferred)
Attention to detail
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
