Reynolds Mountain Dentistry is a fee-for-service (FFS) practice built on a simple conviction: exceptional dentistry begins with the time and attention we give each patient. We are not contracted with any insurance company. We file claims as a courtesy, but insurance never dictates what we recommend clinical judgment does.

We care for patients twelve and up, with a primarily adult population and the occasional younger patient. We invest in our craft and our tools CEREC design and same-day milling, in-house 3D printing, guided implant surgery, and digital workflows throughout so that quality and efficiency are never in tension. Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. This role is critical to our daily operations and patient experience. As a Dental Assistant, you will work chairside with Dentist, support clinical procedures, manage patient flow, and contribute to maintaining a welcoming, organized practice environment. You will work with patients of all backgrounds and anxiety levels, helping to reinforce our commitment to anxiety-free, quality care.

Key Responsibilities
Assist Dentist during all chairside procedures, including restorations, cleanings, and extractions
Prepare operatories before patient arrival, sterilize instruments per OSHA standards, and maintain instrument trays
Provide chairside support including retracting lips/cheeks, suctioning, and passing instruments with anticipation
Operate and maintain dental equipment, including CEREC technology and digital imaging systems
Take intraoral and extraoral photographs for treatment planning and documentation
Provide patient education and support, answering questions and helping patients feel comfortable
Assist with patient check-in, treatment explanations, and post-operative care instructions
Manage electronic health records (Eaglesoft) accurately and confidentially
Maintain high standards of infection control and HIPAA compliance
Support team coordination and contribute to a positive, professional practice cultureQualifications & Requirements
Dental Assistant Certification (CDA) or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required; or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire
Current CPR/BLS certification
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
Proficiency with dental software systems (experience with Eaglesoft a plus)
Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
Ability to work efficiently, manage time well, and maintain punctuality (Punctuality is one of our core values)
Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and be coached (Coachability is essential)
Demonstrated compassion and Hospitality & Rapport with patients and team membersPreferred Qualities
Experience in a fee-for-service or cosmetic dental practice
Familiarity with CEREC technology and same-day restoration procedures
Experience with clinical photography or digital imaging
Previous experience working with anxious or special-needs patients
