Dental Assistant

Overview:

At West Aurora Family Dental supported by Smile Brands, our team is committed to making dental visits positive, stress-free and even fun.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, values teamwork, and takes pride in helping create smooth, efficient, and positive dental visits.

Schedule (days/hours): M: 7:45am-4:00pm, T:8:45am-6:00pm, W: 7:45am-4:00pm, TH: 7:45am-4:00pm, Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures

Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)

Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout their visit

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation

Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols

Support patient flow and contribute to an efficient daily schedule

Work collaboratively with the team to ensure an excellent patient experience

Qualifications:
Meet all state specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment

Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)

Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Compensation: $20-$24/hour About:
