Job Description
Job Summary
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, friendly environment! In this role, you will support dentists during clinical procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical excellence. Duties
Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection prevention management protocols
Take high-quality dental X-rays and operate medical imaging devices such as 3D scanners with precision
Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies
Collect vital signs and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient assessments
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
Support dental reception duties by scheduling appointments, managing patient management software, and coordinating treatment plans
Experience
Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment, and infection control practices is essential
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is advantageous
Experience with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics or general dentistry enhances your candidacy
Demonstrated ability to follow aseptic techniques and adhere to healthcare infection prevention standards
Knowledge of dental sterilization procedures and four-handed dentistry techniques is a plus
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide outstanding patient management
