Job Description
Dental Assistant – Advanced Procedures
Location: Bowie, MD
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Compensation: Pay based on experience
We are a growing, patient-focused dental practice in Bowie, MD looking for an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. We are seeking someone confident assisting with advanced procedures and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Schedule
Monday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:45 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM
Responsibilities
Assist doctor during advanced dental procedures
Support root canal procedures, including molar endodontics
Assist with surgical extractions
Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate records
Perform and assist with iTero scans
Assist with Invisalign cases and attachment placement
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
Educate patients and ensure a positive patient experience
Maintain efficient clinical flow throughout the day
Qualifications
Active Maryland Radiography License required
Experience assisting with advanced dental procedures preferred
Knowledge of endodontic and surgical procedures
Familiarity with Invisalign and attachment placement
Experience with iTero scanning
CEREC experience is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
