Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during procedures and providing exceptional patient care. Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments

- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments

- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care

- Perform dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records

- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation purposes

- Assist with pediatric dental procedures, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for young patients

- Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create dental prosthetics and restorations
Skills:

- Proficiency in orthodontics techniques and procedures

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry

- Experience working as a dental receptionist, managing appointments and patient records

- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic

- Ability to assist with pediatric dental procedures, demonstrating patience and empathy

- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental prosthetics and restorations
