Job Summary
Privately owned FFS dental office is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
Prepare and organize treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for various dental procedures.
Take x-rays as needed.
Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix and DTX Studio
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure that all necessary materials are stocked.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry procedures as required.
Operate 3D scanner for imaging
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required
Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures is essential.
Familiarity with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Proficiency in using Dentrix is highly desirable.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
