Dental Assistant (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our experienced and growing team. This position is ideal for a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused individual who enjoys both clinical assisting and supporting the administrative flow of a busy dental practice. Clinical Responsibilities
Prepare operatories for patient treatment.
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
Take and process digital radiographs.
Prepare dental materials, instruments, and treatment rooms.
Update clinical charting and patient records accurately.
Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.
Monitor clinical inventory and assist with stocking supplies.
Ensure treatment rooms remain clean, organized, and prepared throughout the day.
Maintain a high standard of patient care while ensuring a positive clinical experience.
Administrative Responsibilities
Welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
Assist with patient check-in and check-out as required.
Answer a multi-line telephone system and respond to patient inquiries.
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
Verify insurance information and assist patients with insurance-related questions.
Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
Support the administrative team with recalls, appointment confirmations, treatment scheduling, scanning, filing, and general office duties.
Work collaboratively with both the clinical and administrative teams to ensure the efficient operation of the practice.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
Dental Assisting certification and be in good standing where applicable.
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
Experience using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is considered an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Professional appearance with a positive, friendly, and patient-focused attitude.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
A collaborative mindset with a willingness to support both the clinical and administrative teams.
