Job Summary
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical operations of our dental practice. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.

Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for patient care.

Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans while adhering to all safety protocols and radiation safety standards.

Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms; ensure accurate documentation of medical history, treatment plans, and clinical notes.

Provide chairside assistance by handling dental instruments with aseptic technique and maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.

Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and answer questions related to procedures or billing processes.

Follow infection prevention management protocols including sterilization procedures and healthcare infection control expertise to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and clinical procedures.

Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix; familiarity with patient management software is preferred.

Strong understanding of infection control standards including dental sterilization procedures and aseptic technique.

Ability to take high-quality dental x-rays and operate medical imaging equipment safely.

Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience working with children is a plus.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages while demonstrating professionalism and compassion.

Certification in radiography or X-ray technology required; additional certifications in healthcare infection prevention or oral surgery are advantageous.

Pay: $24.40 - $30.00 per hour
