Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This position involves assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring that the dental office runs smoothly. The Dental Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment while adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with a focus on four-handed dentistry techniques.

Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.

Take and record patient vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation.

Manage patient appointments and maintain an organized schedule, including follow-ups and reminders.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

Eagle software
Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.

Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.

Skills
Proficient in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge to effectively assist in procedures.

Experience in dental assisting, including familiarity with chairside assisting techniques.

Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.

Ability to perform vital sign assessments accurately.

Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus, including managing appointments and patient communications.

Knowledge of dental software systems such as eagle soft preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Bilingual Spanish/English a must
