Dental Assistant

Our office is hiring a Dental Assistant to assist dentists during examinations and treatment. Dental Assistant responsibilities include preparing patients for examination, taking dental histories, recording patient data and assisting in dental procedures. You must have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and dentists. As a Dental Assistant, you will be facing challenging situations daily, like working with sensitive dental equipment. Ultimately, it is your role to make sure that patients feel comfortable and leave with healthy teeth.

Responsibilities:
Take digital radiographs
Use intraoral camera
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays
Prepare patients and assist dentist during dental procedures
Take and record medical and dental history
Participate in treatment planning with dentist.

Provide postoperative care to ensure quality of restorations and minimization of discomfort.

Prepare patients for dental treatment, such as arranging for special reclining chairs, preparing and administering local anesthetic and taking vital signs.
