Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with proficiency in chairside support, patient care, and administrative tasks. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental services by supporting dentists and ensuring a smooth, efficient clinic operation. Your expertise in infection control, medical documentation, and dental procedures will contribute to providing exceptional patient experiences and maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.
Duties
Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and other medical imaging tools while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
Collect vital signs and medical history information to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Manage patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of medical documentation.
