Job Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral health care! Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and periodontal surgery.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized according to aseptic techniques.
Take dental X-rays and other dental imaging using advanced technology such as 3D scanners.
Manage patient records efficiently and dentqal software systems like Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or Epic while maintaining HIPAA compliance for confidentiality.
Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort throughout procedures to ensure a positive experience.
Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and managing medical coding for billing purposes.
Uphold infection control standards and maintain a clean, organized clinic environment following strict aseptic techniques and infection prevention protocols.
Experience
Previous experience working in a dental setting is highly preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology is essential for effective communication and procedure support.
Hands-on experience with dental assisting tasks such as chairside assisting, taking X-rays, 3D imaging equiptment etc.
Proficiency with Open Dental software that will enhance workflow efficiency.
Knowledge of infection control practices, medical records management, and medical coding ensures compliance with healthcare regulations.
Experience working with diverse patient populations.
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
