Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant to join our team!

Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Take dental radiographs (X-rays), no overlapping on cone cuts. Good, readable x-rays.

Knows Dentrix software but not required. (training available)
Perform vital signs assessments and document medical history to support comprehensive patient care
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and assisting the dental receptionist as needed
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards and OSHA guidelines
Requirements
Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or current Dental Assistant (DA) license with relevant state requirements
Proven experience in dental assisting within a general dentistry or specialty practice, including pediatric dentistry preferred
Proficiency with dental software systems such as Dentrix preferred but not required.

Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental terminology, and infection control procedures
Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately while following aseptic techniques
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics
