Job description
Stellar Smiles Dental Care is seeking a full-time Licensed Dental Assistant to join our team.
Required Experience/Skills:
Dental Assisting: 1 to 2 year
Dental Implant Experience
Excellent English speaking skills
Eaglesoft Software experience
Willing to learn
Use of Dental Digital Radiography
Infection Control and Sterilization of Equipment
Intra and extra-oral photography
Competence in 4-handed Dentistry
Teamplayer
Good at Multi-tasking
Attention to Detail
Required Education:
Dental Assistant License
High School Diploma
Required License/Training (Must show proof at Interview) :
Registered DC Dental Assistant License
X-Ray Certification
Required Work authorization:
United States
Duties :
Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
Prepares patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.
Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests.
Provides diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies, and taking diagnostic impressions.
Educates patients by giving instructions and general oral healthcare advice.
Maintains patient confidence by keeping information confidential.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Maintains dental supplies inventory.
Perform general office duties and other duties as required
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
