Job Description
Join us as part of our dental assisting team in a friendly and state of the art private practice in San Carlos, San Diego.
The right candidate will have 1 or more years of dental assisting experience.
We are a busy general dentistry practice with occasional oral surgery, orthodontics and endodontics. The position is Part-time Tuesday – Thursday or Full-time Tuesday-Fridays. We compensate based on skill and experience.
Computer experience and adequate exposure to dental software, especially Eaglesoft experience, is a must. Experience with intraoral scanning, 3D printing, and taking CBCT images will set you apart. An active California RDA license is preferred.
With a full-time position we offer health insurance and dental benefits, paid holidays, a 401K, and Paid Time Off (after 1 yr). Full and Part time employees are eligible for a monthly bonus incentive.

Summary
As a Dental Assistant (DA/RDA), you will be integral to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring a smooth workflow in the office. Reporting to the lead RDA, your core skills in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and aseptic technique will be essential in supporting various procedures. Proficiency in EMR systems like Eaglesoft and knowledge of HIPAA regulations will enhance patient management. Your expertise in digital dentistry and X-ray procedures will further contribute to our commitment to patient care. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chair-side support and utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques.
Utilize Eaglesoft for patient documentation and record-keeping.
Take dental radiographs, photos and digital records.
Educate patients on post-treatment care
