Practice Overview
We are a brand new, modern pediatric dental office in Los Angeles dedicated to providing high-quality, gentle, and fun dental care for children. We’re building a warm, positive team and looking for enthusiastic Dental Assistants who love working with kids and want to grow with us!
Position Overview
We are hiring both Dental Assistants (DA) and Registered Dental Assistants (RDA). This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing practice early and advance as we expand.
Key Responsibilities
Dental Assistants (DA):
Assist chairside during treatments
Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
Sterilization and infection control
Prepare and maintain operatories
Support the team with a positive, patient attitude
Registered Dental Assistants (RDA):
All DA duties above
Assist with dental cleanings (prophylaxis, and must have sealants certification)
Take impressions and pour models (as needed)
Provide excellent chairside support for pediatric patients
Experience
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in pediatric dental assisting duties
Knowledge of dental software platforms such as Open Dental for managing medical records and documentation
Hands-on experience with X-ray procedures, medical imaging, and 3D scanners in a dental setting
Strong understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques specific to dentistry
Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry
Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and the use of dental equipment including intraoral cameras and medical imaging tools
Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist or front desk assistant to coordinate patient flow effectively
Requirements
DA: Minimum 12 months of dental assisting experience (preferred)
RDA: Current California RDA license + valid X-ray certification
Experience with pediatric patients is a big plus
Friendly, kind, energetic, and patient personality — kids love you!
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, growing environment
