We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. Our ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, has strong clinical and communication skills with a passion for educating patients and promoting oral health.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
Assist dentist during a variety of procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and implant pacement.
Take dental X-rays using digital imaging technology such as 3D scanners and handheld x-ray equipment while maintaining strict adherence to OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Manage patient records accurately in Open Dental, ensuring all medical documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining proper aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort throughout treatment sessions to ensure a positive experience.
Support the dental reception area by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow efficiently - we value cross training creating a dynamic team member!
Experience
Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, or prosthodontics.
Proficiency with Open Dental is preferred.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral structures.
Experience with medical imaging tools including X-ray machines and 3D scanners to assist in accurate diagnostics.
Ability to perform dental assisting duties confidently while demonstrating excellent communication skills with patients of all ages. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the dental field while making a positive impact on patients’ lives!
