Job Description
We are seeking experienced Dental Assistants to support a long-term healthcare services program in Daytona Beach, Florida. This full-time opportunity provides clinical support to dental providers in a professional healthcare environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide chairside dental assisting support utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Assist providers with general and specialty dental procedures, including oral surgery, periodontal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, implant placement, and implant restorations.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials to support efficient clinical operations.
Assist with patient preparation, education, and comfort throughout dental procedures.
Perform dental radiographic procedures in accordance with applicable requirements.
Maintain compliance with infection control standards, safety protocols, and clinical procedures.
Collaborate with dental providers and clinical staff to support quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of a one-year Dental Assistant program accredited by the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
Minimum of one year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
Demonstrated competency in four-handed dentistry and assisting with specialty dental procedures.
Current Dental Radiological Certificate.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Current Tuberculosis (TB) screening/test.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a hospital, specialty dental practice, or government healthcare environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
Position Details
Full-time position located in Orlando, Florida.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic environment.
Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dentistry.
Proficiency with dental equipment including X-ray machines, intraoral cameras, and 3D scanners.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; experience with patient management software is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of infection prevention management, sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control expertise.
Ability to accurately take vital signs and perform medical imaging with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
Certification in Dental Assisting (such as CDA or RDA) preferred; additional certifications in radiography or oral surgery are advantageous.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus for supporting diverse patient needs.
