Job Description
Denture Assistant / Dental Assistant
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Denture Assistant to join our denture and implant clinic team. The ideal candidate must have dental assisting experience, with hands-on denture experience required.
This role is more than chairside assisting. The successful candidate will also help support parts of the treatment planning process, including gathering clinical information, preparing case details, assisting with denture-related recommendations, and helping coordinate next steps with the provider, lab, and front desk.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing treatment rooms and assisting during denture procedures
Supporting denture impressions, fittings, try-ins, relines, repairs, and adjustments
Assisting with denture treatment planning and case preparation
Gathering patient information, photos, notes, and clinical details for treatment plans
Helping explain denture treatment steps, timelines, and options under provider direction
Coordinating with the denture lab, denturist, dentist, and front desk as needed
Taking accurate patient notes and updating charts
Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments and equipment
Helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
Requirements:
Dental assistant experience is required, level 2 preferred
Denture /implant experience is a must
Experience assisting with treatment planning is strongly preferred
Knowledge of dentures, removable appliances, relines, repairs, and adjustments
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Good charting, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a busy clinic setting
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Ideal Candidate:
You are confident working with denture cases, comfortable assisting chairside, and capable of supporting treatment planning details. You understand the flow of denture appointments and can help patients, providers, the lab, and the front desk stay organized and aligned.
Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
