Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Mondays-Thursday's from 8:00 am-5:00 pm and on some days until 6:00 PM
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and office duties - Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort - Sterilize instruments according to regulations - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Take X-rays or dental impressions - Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
-Assist with front desk and doctor with office needs
Experience:
- Experience in "Four handed dentistry" techniques - Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology - Knowledge of medical documentation and imaging processes - Familiarity with 3D scanning technology in dentistry - Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is a plus - Exposure to Prosthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry is advantageous - Proficiency in Dentrix ascend preferred
