Job Description
Job Overview - EXPERIENCED DENTAL ASSISTANT
looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to become a vital part of our practice. In this role, you will prepare treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensure patients feel comfortable and cared for. Your experience in dental procedures, infection control, and patient communication will help create a positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring a sterile environment through proper infection control technique
Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, including pano, FMX, BWX, and periapicals
Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft while maintaining HIPAA compliance
Provide chairside assistance efficiently through four-handed dentistry techniques for smooth workflow
Support infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized dental clinic environment in accordance with OSHA standards
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
Familiarity with EMR systems like Curve, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft, is highly preferred
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control procedures
Ability to perform X-ray safely and accurately
Excellent communication skills
Certification in dental assisting required;
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
