Dental Assistant

Location: Ellicott City, Maryland
Job Type: Part-Time (3 days) or Full Time (4 days per week)

Our team values compassion, efficiency, and teamwork. We are looking for a reliable and personable Dental Assistant to join our growing practice.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
Maintain accurate patient records and charting
Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
Sterilize and organize instruments following OSHA and infection control protocols
Manage dental supply inventory and assist with ordering as needed
Support front desk team as needed (scheduling, confirming appointments, etc.)
Qualifications
Current Dental Radiation Technologist (X-ray) certification in Maryland (required)
Dental Assisting experience preferred (new grads welcome to apply)
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
Strong communication and organizational skills
Friendly, professional, and dependable
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Schedule
Part-time: 3 days per week (specific days negotiable)
Full-time: 4 days per week (specific days negotiable)
No evenings or weekends
