Dental Assistant (Experience Not Mandatory) at Markham Dental Office

We are looking for a dental assistant to join our dental clinic located in Markham (Kennedy/Highway 7). The ideal candidate should be comfortable learning some administrative and customer service tasks, have an excellent ability to multitask, and a positive attitude. Previous experience in dental assistant or dental reception is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be required to work Saturdays and late evenings.

Some Responsibilities Include:
Assist the dental team with patient care, including passing instruments, sterilizing instruments, and preparing treatment rooms
Greet patients and visitors to the dental clinic
Answer phones and schedule appointments
Verify patient insurance and collect payments
Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Qualifications:
Prior experience in dental assisting and/or reception, especially in a dental clinic, is preferred but not required
Fluency in English, Cantonese, and/or Mandarin is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work well in a team environment
Willingness to learn
