Job Summary
We are a private dental practice seeking an experienced Chairside Dental Assistant to join our fun loving dental team and deliver exceptional patient care in a friendly environment. We are specifically looking for an individual with a positive spirit and team- player mentality. Must have at least 2 + years experience. Eaglesoft and/or Dentrix sofware experience preferred. Also someone that is familiar with using Cerec and Itero scanners and laser dentistry is a plus!
We are in search of someone that is determined , self-starter and must be a great communicator with patients and the other teammates. Dependability is a must!

Responsibilities
Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, same-day crowns, and oral surgeries with precision and confidence.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures.
Taking digital x-rays and intra oral photos.
Completing patient chart notes efficiently and timely.
Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
Comfortable with presenting treatment plans and/or entering treatment plans
Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist in dental imaging or other diagnostic procedures as required.
Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, equipment operation including 3D scanners and dental x-ray machines, and general clinical procedures to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental office setting with proficiency in chairside assisting across various specialties.
Strong familiarity with dental practice software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and strict adherence to infection prevention management practices.
EFDA certified
Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures accurately while maintaining safety standards for patients and staff.
Excellent understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and dental documentation standards.
Skilled in the use of dental equipment including sterilizers, 3D scanners, dental imaging devices, and other clinical tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
Exceptional communication skills to foster positive patient interactions and collaborate effectively with team members dedicated to quality care.
