Dental Assistant – Periodontal & Implant Specialty Practice

Responsibilities
Assist periodontist during surgical and periodontal procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
Take digital X-rays and assist with imaging as needed
Support implant, grafting, and periodontal procedures
Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
Maintain accurate clinical notes and patient records
Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
Qualifications
Dental assisting experience required
Experience in oral surgery, periodontics, or implants is a plus
X-ray certification required per state guidelines
Strong communication and patient care skills
Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused mindset
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced specialty environment
