Job Description

Q Dentistry is seeking a dependable, caring, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our private dental practice in Everett, Washington. We provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a friendly and supportive environment.

Both experienced dental assistants and promising candidates who are newer to the profession are welcome to apply. At least one year of dental assisting experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is reliable, eager to learn, and committed to excellent patient care.

Position Details
Job type: Full-time or part-time
Pay: $24–$30 per hour, depending on experience and clinical skills
Schedule: Two to four days per week, Monday through Thursday
Office hours: 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Unpaid lunch break: 1:00–2:00 p.m.

Full-time schedule: Four days and approximately 34 paid hours per week
Work location: In person in Everett, WA
Expected start date: As soon as available, with flexibility for the right candidate
No Friday or weekend shifts
Primary Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance during general and restorative dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment
Take digital dental X-rays
Assist with dental charting and clinical documentation
Take traditional impressions and digital intraoral scans
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments according to infection-control standards
Perform treatment-room setup and turnover
Monitor clinical supplies and assist with inventory management
Help patients feel comfortable and provide clear preoperative and postoperative instructions
Work closely with the doctors and other team members to keep the clinical schedule running smoothly
Maintain accurate patient information using Dentrix
Requirements
Active Washington State Dental Assistant Registration or ability to obtain registration before the start date
One year of dental assisting experience preferred, but not required
Dental assisting program graduates and motivated entry-level applicants are welcome
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control
Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work well as part of a team
Professional and compassionate communication with patients
Willingness to learn new procedures, technology, and clinical workflows
Vietnamese language skills are a plus, but not required
Experience with digital X-rays, dental charting, traditional impressions, intraoral scanning, temporary crowns, or dental software is preferred. Training can be provided in these areas for the right candidate.
